    Feet can reveal health risks. If your feet experience any of the 10 problems below, see your doctor right away.

1. Swollen feet.

This is quite common when you are old or pregnant or overweight. But swollen feet can also be a sign of diabetes, foot infections, varicose veins and high salt intake.

2. Smelly feet.

Most people think that smelly feet are caused by poor hygiene, which is true in some cases. But it can also be caused by bacteria growing on the skin, common in athletes’ feet, or by wearing poor-quality shoes.

3. Itchy feet.

Usually, dry skin and allergies cause feet to itch, but there are cases that are more serious than you think. Conditions like diabetes, gout, eczema, psoriasis and scabies can also cause itchy feet, especially at night.

4. Hot feet.

9. Dry and scaly foot skin.

10. Toenails are discolored, hollow or grooved.
