Identification for Development (ID4D) launches a new technology landscape report that provides an overview of current and emerging technological trends in digital identity.

Whether a country is strengthening existing ID systems or deploying new ID systems from facilities, technology options, when selected and deployed accordingly, it is possible to expand the registration size and validate # ID4D to help achieve the missing billions. Technology options can also allow identification systems that lead to tangible benefits across a wide range of sectors, such as including finance, health services, and social protection for the poorest and most vulnerable. The Technology Landscape Report # ID4D reminds us that additional factors and risk mitigation measures should be considered when choosing certain technology #digitalidentity.
